Verteil Achieves Lufthansa Group NDC 24.1 Certification for Key End-to-End Workflows

June 17, 2026
Press Release

Frankfurt, Germany /Kochi, India, 18 June 2026— Verteil Technologies has achieved Lufthansa Group NDC 24.1 certification, enabling travel agencies connected to Verteil to access the latest Lufthansa Group retailing and servicing workflows across Lufthansa Group airlines, including Lufthansa, SWISS, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, and ITA Airways.

With this upgrade, agencies using Verteil can manage important Lufthansa Group NDC 24.1 workflows through a single connection, including disruption servicing, upgrade options, and clearer visibility of fare, tax, and penalty details before confirming changes.

The certification places Verteil among the aggregators to support Lufthansa Group NDC 24.1 end-to-end workflows. For travel agencies, this means they can start using the latest Lufthansa Group NDC capabilities without having to manage separate airline-by-airline technical integrations.

Key benefits for travel agencies include:

·     Involuntary Servicing: Agents can manage disrupted bookings through supported NDC servicing flows, helping reduce manual work and improve response times during schedule changes or disruptions.

·     Upsell Workflow: Agencies can present and sell eligible Lufthansa Group upgrade options withinthe booking flow, giving customers more choice while helping agencies capture additional value.

·     Clear Split-Up: Agents can view fare differences, taxes, and applicable penalties before confirming a servicing action, making it easier to explain changes to customers and reduce errors.

The upgraded workflow support is available for Lufthansa, SWISS, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, and ITA Airways as part of the Lufthansa Group NDC 24.1 rollout supported by Verteil.

Heinrich Lange, Vice President Digital Retailing & Order Management at Lufthansa Group, said: “The expansion of Lufthansa Group NDC 24.1 across our partner ecosystem is a key element of our value-focused distribution strategy. With Verteil, we are enabling agencies to adopt new servicing and retailing capabilities more efficiently, helping to accelerate the transition towards Modern Airline Retailing.”

Jerrin Jos, Founder & CEO added “We are pleased to continue our work with Lufthansa Group as a trusted NDC technology partner. For agencies, the real value of NDC comes when advanced capabilities can be used easily in day-to-day operations. With LHG NDC 24.1 certification now in place, Verteil is helping agency partners access important servicing and retailing workflows through a single connection, including disruption handling, upgrade options, and clearer visibility before changes are confirmed.”
